The astute reader may have noticed a screeching halt when it comes to updates. I haven't abandoned anything, but much of my free time for the past month and a half has been absorbed by a writing project I've been incredibly interested in.
This past week I released my first piece of published fiction, book one in an episodic series of sci-fi/fantasy. It's already on the Amazon Kindle store as we speak and it will be popping up on other distribution sites (like the iBooks and B&N stores) as soon as they update their listings.
I'm really excited about it, but it's been a lot of work which is why I haven't really had much time to write reviews or so on. Adding to that, Starcraft 2 finally came out, and I have not had time for anything other than eating and sleeping!
At any rate, I applied the lessons I learned from last year's NaNoWriMo to this project and I think it's turned out well. Initial feedback has been inspiring even though it's only been available for purchase for two days and I'm looking forward to releasing the next books in the series.
If you're interested in checking it out, just follow this link: iyetra.com. I can promise that there's a total absence of vampires or werewolves.
This is just a quick note to explain the lack of updates recently; I shall endeavour to pick up the pace as soon as I can!
